- 1 cup of raw almonds (soaked overnight)
- 3.5 - 4 cups of purified water
- 1-2 dates (pitted and skin removed)
- cinnamon
- vanilla extract or vanilla bean
Directions
- Soak almonds for about 8 hours in purified water.
- Rinse almonds and mix with water in blender.
- Blend on the highest setting for a few minutes until smooth.
- Strain mixture into an airtight glass bottle using a nut mesh bag or mesh sieve. ( I use a funnel for precision)
This milk should keep for up to a week. The leftover almond pulp can be used to make homemade almond butter or be used as almond flour.
